Hong Kong has banned Air India providers until April 24 after three passengers on one in all its flights examined optimistic for COVID-19 publish arrival on Saturday, a senior authorities official has stated.

Passengers from India can arrive in Hong Kong provided that they’ve a COVID-19 unfavorable certificates from a check carried out 48 hours previous to the journey, in accordance with guidelines issued by the Hong Kong authorities, stated the official on Sunday.

Furthermore, all worldwide passengers are required to take a post-flight COVID-19 check on the airport premises in Hong Kong.

“The three passengers on Air India’s AI316 Delhi-Kolkata-Hong Kong flight on April 16 examined optimistic for COVID-19 publish arrival,” the official stated.

Air India flights from New Delhi and Kolkata have been banned until April 24 by the Hong Kong authorities, the official added.

Air India didn’t reply to the PTI’s request for an announcement on this matter.

Common worldwide flights resumed in India on March 27 after a two years’ hiatus induced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
