The first teaser trailer for the dark sci-fi movie Don’t Look Up has been released and it’s quite interesting. The Netflix movie features a star cast, with Meryl Streep playing Orlean, the president of the United States, while Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence play astronomy professor Dr. Randall Mindy and his student Kate Dipasky, respectively.
The duo tries to warn the President of a comet that is heading to destroy Earth. With the help of Dr. Oglethorpe, played by Rob Morgan, they try to warn everyone with a media tour. Their journey puts them in the president’s office. As they try to warn them, their attempt is in vain as the president, her “sycophant” son and chief of staff, Jason, played by Jonah Hill, laugh at their allegations.
In addition to Leonardo, Jennifer, Meryl and Jonah, Don’t Look At A Father also stars Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, Mark Rylance, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Scott Miscudy (aka Kid Cody), Hamish Patel, and Melanie Lensky, Michael Chiklis and Tomer Sisley.
Don’t Look For It was written and directed by Academy Award winner Adam McKay (The Big Short). Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Adam revealed that the movie also features a cameo for Chris Evans. “Chris Evans has a small cameo in the movie. It’s so funny. I wouldn’t give up on who he plays but he appears in the movie.”

Leonardo, who is also an environmentalist, told the same publication, “Adam has an unparalleled ability to spark conversation with humor and timely stories. I knew when I read his text that he was incredibly unique, because it struck an important chord with regard to the modern world that We live in it. Adam has woven an incredibly timely message about society, how we communicate, our current priorities, and the climate crisis into an absurdly funny but important film.”
