Chennai Super Kings batting coach Mike Hussey returned to Australia on Monday after recovering from Kovid-19, the Indian Premier League (IPL) team said.
Chennai Chief Executive Kasi Vishwanathan told PTI that Hussey, who was treated at the hospital for Kovid-19, flew to Australia on a Doha flight on Sunday morning.
Last week Australia lifted a two-week ban on citizens returning from Kovid-damaged India. ”Back with zeal! Recovered and returned home safely! Chennai tweeted along with a photo of Hussey and bowling coach Lakshmipathy Balaji recovering from the virus.

On Monday, many IPL cricketers in Australia, including David Warner, Pat Cummins and Steve Smith, arrived in Sydney after spending a week in the Maldives waiting for the border restrictions to be lifted.
International cricketers participating in the IPL have started returning home a day after the lucrative Twenty20 tournament was halted on May 4 due to the COVID-19 crisis.
