Chris confirmed his son’s cameo appearance at the Thor: Love and Thunder premiere, and also revealed that his 10-year-old daughter India has filmed a small role as the character ‘Love’.

The 38-year-old Marvel actor explained that his new film was a family affair for several stars, as Christian Bale and Natalie Portman’s children also made cameo appearances.

Chris told film critic Kevin McCarthy that his children “really wanted to be in it”, adding: “Taika [Waititi, director] he had his children there. Christian Bale had his. Natalie also had her children.

Chris clarified that the cameos were simply a fun family experience and that he did not want his children to become actors.

‘I don’t want them to be child stars. It was a special experience that we all had,” she said.

When asked if her children enjoyed sharing the screen with their famous father, she replied: “They loved it.” They had a great time.’

This isn’t the first time Chris has helped a family member get on screen, as he gave his brother Luke a cameo in one of the Thor movies.

His wife Elsa Pataky also landed a small role as a nurse in Thor: Ragnarok.

The Hollywood star also gave his cousin Luke Van Os some career advice before the young actor landed his breakout role on Home and Away, the same Australian soap opera Chris started out on.
