Stranger Things Season 5 News: Stranger Things Season 5 Release Updates: Will There Be Another Season?

Stranger Things Season 4, Part Two is taking Netflix by storm. And now fans are wondering what the show holds in the future. Will there be another season and if so, when can we expect it? Stranger Things is undoubtedly one of the most popular shows on OTT, captivating the world with a magnificent lineup of characters and an intriguing story. No wonder people are eager to find out more about it.

The lengthy wait period between seasons 3 and 4 of this incredible series, from the Duffer Brothers, left viewers wanting more. Fans would love to have an endless supply of this show, but like any other show, it will have to come to an end one day.

Netflix viewers loved all seven episodes of Season 4, Volume 1, which premiered on May 27. Every episode was scary, funny, touching, and exciting all at the same time. And now, today, July 1, fans will also be able to enjoy Volume 2. So, will we see season 5?

Okay, yes. In February of this year, Netflix and the Duffer brothers announced that a fifth season was in the works. Recently, Duffer Brothers has even teased what may be in the next installment. We will learn more about the origin, history and lore of the Upside Down, and according to them, there could be a time jump.

The sad thing, however, is that the producers of the show have announced that the show will conclude with Season 5. They have also hinted at the possibility of spin-offs, so this won’t be goodbye after all. They haven’t started filming for season 5 yet, but it can be expected to come out sometime in 2024, based on predictions. Netflix has not yet confirmed the release date.

Filming for season 4 began in January 2020, but was halted in March due to covid-19. Filming resumed in September of the same year, but we couldn’t see it before May 2022. It was an unusual process and the Duffer brothers don’t expect it to happen again.
