British actor Tom Felton, best known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, crashed while playing in a popular golf exhibition on Thursday in the Ryder Cup. Organizers said Felton experienced a “medical incident” in Whistling Straits and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. They did not provide other information.
Felton was in the 18th hole when he landed. He was helped by his feet, placed on a stretcher and pushed into a golf cart. He turned 34 on Wednesday.
Felton is representing Europe at the Celebrity Match, which takes place the day before the start of the US and Europe Rider Cup. He has appeared in many films, especially eight in the Harry Potter series. Tom Felton last appeared in the Dutch Second World War film The Forgotten Bottle, which was released in theaters in June.
It features the Netflix premiere in October. The actor will next appear in the British drama Save the Save, based on the true story of Liz Evans, a hairdresser and youth theater leader in Carmertein, Wales, who launched a campaign in 1993 to save the lyrics. Theater from closing.
Along with Felton, the film also stars Jonathan Price, Samantha Morton, Adil Akhtar and Susan Wokoma.
