Eagle-eyed fans spot the main Thor Love and Thunder plot point in Spider-Man No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home Roared the global box office. Thanks to the relentless marketing campaign and what this film has provided, this Tom Holland-starrer movie seems to have revived the theaters almost alone.

Along with certified supervillains such as Green Goblin, Dr. Otto Octavius, Electro, Sandman and Lizard, who have returned from previous films, this Jon Watts direction also provided many surprises. Like almost every MCU movie or TV show, there are also many Easter eggs and at least one tease for a future Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

In a scene from JK Simmons’ J Jonah Jameson anchoring a news program, a Reddit user claims that the ticker below provides a clue about what’s to happen in the upcoming Thor movie: Love and Thunder.

If you want to go blind to love and thunder and want to know nothing before seeing it, stop reading. It can be considered as a spoiler.

However, according to u / KingEuronIIIGreyjoy the ticker reads something like “Political chaos in New Asgard”. The user emphasized that the ‘Z’ could refer to Zeus, as Russell Crowe was confirmed to be playing the Marvel version of the greatest of the Greek gods.

“Gore the God butcher wanders around the universe and kills gods from various deities (Egyptian, Mayan, etc., many deities from various Pantheon characters in comics). Go to Asgard. However, Thor stays away from the world with the Guardians and instead he must be treated with Asgard’s new king Valkyrie, which leads to political turmoil and eventually Jane returns and becomes Mighty Thor to fight Gore, or something like that, the theory reads further.

Not only is this intriguing in itself, it also makes sense that writer-director Taika Waititi and Jennifer Kaitin Robinson might try to remove it. Gore may not be the ultimate villain for the film and Juice may turn out to be Big Bad.

Or it could be approval for MCU’s fun interconnectedness.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on July 8, 2022.
