The publication said that Craig’s star will be placed next to the star of former Bond actor Roger Moore. Craig becomes the fourth Bond actor to earn the honor after Moore, David Niven and Pierce Brosnan.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said in a statement quoted by People: “Daniel Craig is a British cultural icon, as well as the man who portrayed James Bond in five 007 films. We are very happy to place his Terrazzo Walk of Fame star next to James Bond, another famous actor who played the role of Roger Moore.
Meanwhile, Daniel Craig has received much praise for his performance in No Time to Die, which some say is the best performance of his career.
Directed by Carrie Joji Fukuna, and written by Neil Purvis, Robert Wade, Fukuna and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the film follows Jade Bond, retired from MI6, but commissioned by the CIA to rescue the kidnapped scientist.
Leah Sedoux, Ben Visakha, Naomi Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Rory Kinnear and Ralph Fiennes are back from previous films. Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, Ana de Armas, David Densik and Dolly Bensala have joined the franchise with No Time to Die.
Daniel Craig will next appear in the Ryan Johnson sequel to Knives Out of 2019.
