Black leopard Star Letitia is being treated at Wright Hospital after sustaining minor injuries on the Boston Wakanda Forever Set.
A Marvel spokesman said in a statement Wednesday that the incident happened while filming a stunt for the sequel. Wright is expected to be released from the hospital soon.
Wright is re-enacting his role in Wakanda Forever, directed by Ryan Kugler. The 27-year-old British actor broke out as the science-minded late sister in the first film T’Challa of Chadwick Bosman.
Her injuries are expected to delay production in the sequel, which is set to release in July 2022.
The entertainment commercial website Deadline first reported the news.
