A young mother has described how completing a six-week Pilates challenge got her in the best shape of her life, and she’s ready to do it again.

‘My body was the best it has been in years, strong and toned. My pregnancy (other than the long lasting morning sickness) was great after I ended it. I was able to surf until the day before my son was born and I had an amazing birth as I trusted my body this time,” said the mother of two.

‘I am currently going back to that as my second child is six weeks old. So I’m starting small with postpartum workouts. When I’m at 100%, I like to do a Fluidform workout five days a week for 20-40 minutes (depending on my kids that day).

‘I firmly believe in constant and regular movement. Moving your body for just 20 to 30 minutes each day is much more beneficial than exercising for an hour once or twice a week,” Kirsten previously told FEMAIL.

‘This is what I personally practice between work and home. I found that as long as I have 20 minutes a day, I can keep my body in good condition and working well.’

Kirsten said the digital program can be done whenever and wherever clients want and insists it’s easy to fit into any schedule, no matter how demanding.

“The program offers a mix of 30- to 40-minute full-body workouts and specific mini-exercises that target certain areas of your body, like abs, arms, or glutes,” he said.

‘There are a series of calendars to follow that are designed to change your body in four weeks. Seeing the change keeps you motivated!’

When it comes to diet, Kirsten advises against any program focused on losing weight.

“I’m a strong believer in creating a meal plan for yourself that isn’t focused on weight loss, but rather on developing healthy habits and increasing your knowledge of what foods your body needs to function at its best,” Kirsten said.
