Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Sunday ridiculed Priyanka Gandhi for rejecting any challenge from Vadra and called her Vadra on Twitter. He said it was a big victory for Priyanka to retain her current seven seats in next year’s assembly elections.

In an interview, the BJP leader rejected any challenge from the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and said that if they win as many seats as they have in 2017, they should be happy. Maurya, who refused to give any importance to the Aam Aadmi Party and Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM, called them vote-cut.

The central leadership makes the decision in the face of the CM

Keshav, who was the backbone of Yogi Adityanath in the last elections, has started asking questions about the BJP chief ministership in the upcoming elections. He said the decision would be taken by the central leadership only after discussions with the MLAs. When the Congress announced that it would give 40 per cent tickets to women, Maurya said the Congress had no presence in UP. It would be a great honor to retain the present seven seats. While there were two MPs in the 2014 Lok Sabha, it was reduced to one in 2019.

Commenting on the formation of Priyanka as an alternative to the BJP in UP, Maurya said, “I think the media sees her more in the role of opposition. I call Priyanka Gandhi Wardha jini Twitter Vadra.

Apart from this, the Deputy CM tweeted that Congress is a national disease and people are treating it as a doctor. As the disease declines, so does the national problem. Thus the construction of Sri Rama Mandir, Article 370 Swaha, the tricolor flag is hoisted at Lal Chowk.
