Punjab-Haryana High Court Taking this as a basis, the High Court dismissed the petition filed by the wife challenging the divorce orders.

The wife of a Panchkula resident, Jhajjar, has filed a petition in the high court challenging the divorce order issued to her husband. According to the petition, the petitioner was married in 2011 and has a son. Her husband filed for divorce in the lower court, which was upheld by the Jhajjar family court. The petitioner contended that this order was incorrect. Her husband was behaving rudely towards her, demanding dowry.

The High Court held that the petitioner’s husband was found to be working in the hospital. In order to get rid of his job, the petitioner made a false complaint against a known person. Thus the attempt to completely rob one of one’s employment becomes a cruelty. In this context, the High Court dismissed the petition.
