After the death of Kovid patient, a woman filed a report against 13 people, including the MD of a medical college in Mandana, alleging that she had taken her blood samples, neglected treatment and cheated. According to the deceased’s wife, papers from the hospital management showed that her husband had died at 9 am on April 25.
Other documents revealed that staff took his blood sample at 11:30 p.m. According to the complaint of the deceased’s wife, the Bittur police registered a case as per the court orders and started investigation. Anand Bagh resident Geeta Tiwari said on April 22 that her husband Anand Shankar Tiwari had confirmed that he had a Kovid.
Oxygen level at that time was 91. Late at night he was admitted to Rama Medical College in Mandhana. Until the second day, he continued to talk to him via video call. The video call alleges that Anand told her about the disorder inside and that the doctor was carrying his gold chain.
His mobile phone was later confiscated by employees. On April 24, the medical bulletin reported that Anand’s health had improved. Following this, he was pronounced dead on April 25. Then only mobile came back. According to the victim, the CMS did not listen to the complaint lodged with the police about the negligence of the hospital management.
He then approached the court. Following this, a report was registered against 13 persons including MD, Director, Unit Head, ICU Head Dr Ashish, CMS, Pathologist, Neglect, Fraud, Guilty Homicide, Disaster Management Act, Indian Medical Council Act.
