Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi on Monday to boost the development of Banaras ahead of Diwali. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public meeting on Monday at a ground on the banks of the newly constructed Ring Road Phase-2 to meet the people of his parliamentary constituency.

On this occasion, 28 projects will be dedicated, including the expansion of the Varanasi-Gorakhpur National Highway, a ring road that will strengthen connectivity from Purvanchal to Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Varanasi at 1 pm and will leave Babatpur Airport for Delhi at 2.30 pm from the public meeting venue.

The Prime Minister set the stage for the public meeting in Mehndiganj on Sunday. More than a lakh chairs have been set up for the commoners. Prime hoardings were erected on each pillar. Inside the venue are 18 LED screens, 4 blocks for VIPs and one block for media.

The remaining 48 blocks are accessible to the general public. The venue, helipad and VIP road were sealed by SPG personnel and the venue was secured. On Sunday, Commissioner Deepak Agarwal, ADG John Brij Bhushan, IG SK Bhagat, Rural SP Amit Verma, Additional SP Neeraj Kumar Pandey and other officials visited the venue.

It is estimated that more than one lakh people will attend the Prime Minister’s public meeting. The Prime Minister said that four races have been set up in front of the venue at the public meeting venue, with a seating capacity of 25,000. Apart from that arrangements were made for people to stand in the joint area. Five parking spaces have also been prepared for vehicles to go to the open house.
