A shocking income tax case has come to light in Mathura. The person driving the rickshaw here received an income tax notice of Rs 3.43 crore. His turnover is in crores of rupees.

Pratap Chandra lives in Amar Colony on Thana Highway and drives a rickshaw. For the past six months, he has been touring the Postal Department and the public facility to get a PAN card. Sanjay, a young man from Jan Suvidha Kendra, gave him his PAN card but on the third day the Income Tax Department notice reached his house.
Instructions for depositing income tax arrears in the notice
In the notice, it was ordered to show arrears of Rs 3 crore 43 lakh on it. According to the notice, his annual turnover under GST is around Rs 43 crore 40 lakh. Based on this he will have to deposit income tax of Rs 3.43 crore. The notice left the rickshaw driver unconscious.
