The minimum temperature was recorded at minus 1.2 in Banihal, 0.5 in Batot, 4.6 in Katra and minus 0.4 in Bhadarwa.

In the evening, light clouds covered Srinagar. The temperature here last night was minus 2.1 degrees and Pahalgam minus 6.9 degrees. In Leh, the daytime temperature was also minus 3.5 and the minimum temperature last night was minus 15.0 degrees Celsius amid severe cold. Kargil had a low of minus 12.5 degrees Celsius last night and a high of 2.2 degrees Celsius during the day.
