The Indian Navy destroyer INS Ranvijay was wrecked today. The Eastern Naval Command said the fire broke out around 5.30pm and naval teams immediately brought the situation under control. Four sailors are being treated for burns at Naval Hospital INHS Kalyani.

The ship had recently returned from an exercise at sea and was parked near the Visakhapatnam Naval Harbor, the Eastern Naval Command said. The Board of Inquiry has ordered an inquiry into the possible causes of the incident.
