5690 candidates have been selected for constable posts in Delhi Police. Of these, 3771 were male and 1919 were female candidates. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Thursday released the final selection results for the Constable Recruitment Examination.

SSC released the computer based test results for Constable Recruitment on 15 March 2021 in which 67740 candidates were declared successful for appearing for the Physical Test. Based on this, the SC announced the final selection results on Saturday.

Of those selected, 2795 were Unreserved, 556 were EWS, 1115 were OBC, 955 were SC and 269 were ST category candidates. After a criminal case was registered against four candidates, their results were suspended. At the same time, the results of 625 candidates were also withheld, alleging that they had cheated in the exam.
