The number of people infected with Omicron in Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, has risen to 15. Five of them are from outside Mumbai.

The BMC said the man had taken three doses of the Pfizer corona virus vaccine. Airport checks on November 9 revealed that he had been infected with corona. His sample was then sent for genome sequencing. His report was positive.
The BMC said two of those who had contact with him also came in negative. The infected person was hospitalized as a precaution. He has no symptoms yet.

Section 144 was imposed in Mumbai from December 16 to December 31. Mumbai police on Thursday said they would impose restrictions on large gatherings in the city in view of Christmas and New Year festivities as part of measures to curb the spread of coronavirus under Section 144.
Omicron cases in these 11 states
The state most affected by Omicron is Maharashtra, where a total of 32 cases have been detected so far. Rajasthan, on the other hand, is in second place with 17 cases. Apart from this, cases in Gujarat (4), Karnataka (3), Kerala (5), Andhra Pradesh (1), Telangana (2), West Bengal (1), Chandigarh (1), Tamil Nadu (1) and Delhi (6) are huh.
