According to a local newspaper, Harjeet Sajjan has now been made Minister of International Affairs. Sajjan was also accused of failing to tackle the military sexual misconduct crisis.

Anita was born in 1967 in Nova Scotia to Indian parents, both of whom are medical professionals. His mother Saroj from Punjab and father S.V. Anand is from Tamil Nadu. Anita is a professor of law at the University of Toronto. She contested and won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Oakville, near Toronto. He was then elected Minister of Public Services and Procurement.
