Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will contest from Gorakhpur while Keshav Prasad Maurya will contest from Siratu seat in Prayagraj. Mriganka Singh will contest from Kairana Assembly seat as BJP candidate.

Party UP in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan held a press conference and released the list. The BJP has announced 57 candidates for 58 seats in the first phase and 48 seats for 55 seats in the second phase. BJP has announced Srikanth Sharma as its candidate from Mathura seat. He was the Minister of Energy in the Yogi government. Surendra Tomar was nominated from Meerut South and Vikram Saini from Khatauli.
