Aamir Khan Productions has announced that its upcoming Hindi film Lal Singh Chadha will not be released on Christmas Eve. In a statement shared on Instagram, the production company said that the film will now be released on 2022 Valentine’s Day.
“We welcome the administration’s decision to allow movie theaters to reopen from October 22. Due to delays encountered as a result of the epidemic, our film Lal Singh Chadda cannot be released this Christmas. We will now release Lal Singh Chadda on Valentine’s Day 2022,” the statement said.
Lal Singh Chadha also stars Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya. The film is a Hindi parody of the Hollywood film Forest Gump. The original film starred Tom Hanks in the lead role.
With Aamir Lal Singh pushing Chaddha to February 2022, the Christmas weekend will now be adapted by Ranveer Singh cricket themed film ’83. The actor went on Instagram, shared a new picture from the movie and confirmed the Christmas release.
“It’s time ………… is being released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. # ThisIs83,” he captioned the film. Starring Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jatin Sarna and others.
’83 is due for release in April 2020. However, due to the first Kovid-19 inspired lockdown, the movie was delayed. Earlier this year, Ranveer announced that the film would be released on June 4, 2021. However, the second wave of the Kovid-19 pandemic forced a second lockdown, closing cinema halls as well.

Ranveer will also be seen in Suryavanshi, which is set to release in November 2021. The film is directed by Akshay Kumar and stars Ajay Devgan in the role of Singh. Directed by Rohit Shetty and supported by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the team has announced that the cop-drama will be released for Diwali.
