Naga Chaitanya, who is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Lal Singh Chadha, opened up about what seemed like a very ‘intriguing’ concept of cinema in a new interview. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is a Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Hollywood classic Forest Gump.
Aamir Khan starred in Lal Singh Chaddha co-starred with Kareena Kapoor in the film. Naga Chaitanya, who appeared in a brief role in the film, is ‘excited’ about the project.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Chaitanya said that he is looking forward to the release of the film: “I am very excited. I can not wait to catch you in the theater. What we shot came out very well. I’m really excited about it. The team is really excited about it. So, I can not wait to see you all.
Chaitanya described what made him most ‘interesting’ when he read the script: “The way they adapted it to our Indian culture and our Indian sensibilities made me very interested when I heard the script. They covered. Some important events in our timeline.”
In an interview last year, South star Aamir himself said that he got a call for the film. “I got a call from Aamir Khan. After discussing the initial methods of the script, I went to Mumbai for the final discussions and quickly got on board. It’s like magic! Aamir told me that he saw my performances and my movie trailers and was very impressed and he thought I was suitable for the role, ”he told the Deccan Chronicle.

After several delays, Lal Singh Chadha was finally released on April 14, which was the release date on the occasion of Baisakhi. It clashes with Prashant Neil’s KGF Chapter 2 starring Yash. Kareena Kapoor ended filming in the early days of her pregnancy in 2020.
