Actress Mandira Bedi said Thursday that there is a “long way to go” before she can return to normalcy, months after the death of her husband, Raj Kaushal. Taking to Instagram, she shared a collage of her and her fitness band.

In the photo, Mandira Bidi posed in front of the camera with a no-makeup look. She was wearing a black sports bra with pink and white leggings.

She captioned the post, “It’s a long way to feel normal again. Emotionally, mentally, and physically. But every morning I wake up with a goal and aim for as much positivity as I can muster.”

“And in all of this I’m still doing #Congratulations..because there is always something to be grateful for. Have a good day everyone #nirbhaunirvair,” Mandira added.


In response to this post, Gaurav Gera wrote: “Love.” Adel Hussein said: What an inspiration…a lot of love. “Big hug,” Aditi Jovetrikar commented.

Mandira has been giving her fans glimpses of herself on social media after Raj’s death. He died on June 30 after suffering a heart attack at the age of 49. He directed films such as Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and Shaadi Ke Laddoo. Mandira performed the last Raj rituals.

On his 50th birthday, Mandira shared an old photo of the couple on Instagram. She had captioned it, “August 15th: It was always a celebration. Independence Day and Raj’s birthday…Happy birthday Raj..we miss you and hope you will watch us and hold our backs like you always did..the great void will never be filled, wish you were in A better place. Peaceful and surrounded by love…”

Raj and Mandira tied the knot in 1999. Their son Veer is now 10 years old. Last year, they adopted their 5-year-old daughter, Tara, in July.
