Liger is not Mike Tyson’s first affair with Bollywood. Watch him promote this Shahid Kapoor movie since 2007

On Monday, producer Karan Johar revealed that former boxing champion Mike Tyson will be part of his upcoming film Liger‌. His association with the film was pitched as seen ‘for the first time on the Indian screen’. While it is true that he has never acted in a Bollywood movie before, Mike has promoted one before.

In 2007, he appeared in a promotional song for Ahmed Khan’s Fool N Final. The film is a parody of the multi-starrer, Hollywood movie Snatched. It stars Shahid Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Vivek Oberoi, Ayesha Takia, Johnny Liver, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raj, Arbaaz Khan and others.

In the promotional video, the entire cast dances to lively music. Scenes of Mike Tyson in the boxing ring, Sunny Deol coming out of his car hitting the cardboard cutout were pepper sprayed by the music video. He does not communicate at all with the original cast.

Speaking about roping on the mic for the video, Ahmed told Rediff in 2007, “We need to look special from a celebrity to promote this film. I asked my producer to talk to Mike Tyson. We filmed Tyson scenes in Lawson Vegas. It’s like deceiving an audience you don’t want to do. It’s fun to work with. “

Mike is one of the most famous boxers in the world. H became the youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history in 1986 at the age of 20. He raped an 18-year-old girl in 1992, for which he was sentenced to six years in prison, but was granted parole in 1995.
