Dia Mirza took a trip on Memory Lane and hit Throbak Gold on Thursday. During the Miss India pageant in 2000, she shared a precious moment with herself on Instagram starring Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta.

“I’m throwing back 2000 years with Priyanka Chopra ‘,” Dia captioned her throwback Thursday post. Laura entered the comments section and wrote: “Three girls dreamed with their hearts and relied on each other!” In 2000, Laura was crowned Miss Universe and Priyanka was crowned Miss World, while Dia Mirza was crowned Miss Asia Pacific. The trio then entered Bollywood.

In the throwback gem, Priyanka, Laura and Diya are coordinated in black as they pose with their pageant sashes.

In 2019, Laura shared a post then and now tagging Priyanka and Diya who had a moment from the Miss India 2000 pageant. “I posted the picture above a while ago, but I saw this edit on Instagram and really liked it! Then and now! You can have up to 20 years diamirzaofficial @priyankachopra! I love you both. It’s so much fun to always have it binding us to each other! One for the motherland! ”She wrote.

Last year, Priyanka met Laura and her daughter Saira in New York and shared a post about ‘friendship’: “21 years and counting … friendships that can be revived in no time. Laura Dutta and she is the most luminous star. Saira you are definitely your mom’s daughter. Adore you. I love these girls so much. And many memories. ”

In December last year, Harnaz Sandhu won the Miss Universe 2021 title, bringing the crown to India for the first time since Laura Dutta. Priyanka, Dia and Laura shower her with congratulatory messages.
