Actor Dia Mirza cheered her on when her ex-husband, producer Sahil Sangha announced the launch of her production house, Madiba Entertainment. She went to Instagram Stories to wish him well and wrote “Roar”, then a lion emoji. Announcing their split in 2019, Dia and Sahil partnered with business partners to form a production house called Born Free Entertainment. Under the banner, they produced films like Love Breakups Zindagi and Bobby Jasoos.

Dia and Sahil announced their split in 2019 with a respectful post saying that they will continue to be friends. “After 11 years we have shared our lives and are together, we have decided to separate. We will be friends and stay with each other with love and respect. Although our journeys have led us in different directions, we will always be grateful for the bond we share with each other,” the couple wrote in a joint statement.

In an earlier interview with the Hindustan Times, Dia Sahil said the work was somewhat thrilling after her split. “Any major life change can be challenging, painful and difficult but the work can be exciting. It will help you grow and keep you alive. And the work I do is my chance to give myself a chance to cope with the pain better. I will go out there and find my voice and help myself and others. I want to be empowered, ”she said.

Dia married Vaibhav Rekhi in 2021. In May this year the couple welcomed their son Avyan. The actor shared a photo of his son and revealed that he was born prematurely and had to stay in the neonatal ICU. In a statement signed by the Daya couple, she said of her pregnancy journey, “To paraphrase Elizabeth Stone,” Having a baby means that your heart will never decide to wander outside your body. “She also wrote that she was in a life-threatening condition.” A sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy and the next and most serious bacterial infection proved to be sepsis and could be fatal. Thankfully, timely care and intervention by our doctor ensures a safe birth for our baby through emergency c-section.
